The RiderCoach Prep Course – U
The RiderCoach Prep Course is an intensive nine day workshop preparing motorcyclists to earn certification as Rider Coaches. The RCPC consists of approximately two and a half days of familiarization with the Motorcycle Safety Foundation’s Basic Rider Course curriculum, approximately four and a half days of teaching practice with the other RiderCoach candidates, and then concludes with all of the candidates cooperatively teaching (under supervision of course) an actual Basic Rider Course of beginning motorcyclists.
In addition to the training hours, the RiderCoach Prep includes a written knowledge test to cover the candidates’ knowledge of Basic Rider Course content and structure. The RCPC will also include a riding skills test, examining the candidates’ ability to proficiently ride the required Basic Rider Course demonstrations.
